A problem that many people who work from home on their own internet based businesses face is the possibility of suffering from burnout. This can be felt in a variety of ways such as lack of motivation, general apathy or writers block to name a few. The good news is that there are things you can do to avoid burnout and anybody who works from home can follow these tips daily.

1. Get some fresh air.

Whether you go out for a coffee at midday rather than drinking it at home alone, or you take a lunch hour and go out everyday it does not really matter. The critical point is that you get a change in your environment for a short space of time every single day.

It is vitally important that you find somewhere that you can relax for a little while away from your normal living and working area, especially if you live and work in the same space. People who work from home on the internet usually do their job alone, so having a quick conversation with someone who does not live in your house is great to stimulate your brain a bit. You do not necessarily have to do the same thing every day. Mix is up a bit and sometimes maybe just take a walk around your neighborhood. (more…)
